Engagement process

From a conversation to a proposal

Three steps, each with a clear purpose. Select a step to see what happens and what helps.

Discuss the requirement

You describe the premises, the working hours and what you want covered. Questions follow about entry points, visitor patterns and anything specific to your site.

Have ready: the premises address, working hours and days, and the main entry points.

Clarify the scope

Posts, hours, the number of personnel, duties and reporting expectations are set out so that both sides read the same thing before anything is proposed.

Have ready: any access rules, visitor procedures or existing arrangements you already have.

Receive a proposal

A proposal is prepared from the clarified scope, taking applicable minimum wage and statutory obligations into account. You review it and decide; an enquiry commits you to nothing.

Decide: whether the proposal matches what you need, and what, if anything, should change.

Start with step 1: tell us about your premises

Trust and compliance

Security is a regulated responsibility

Licensing

Questions worth asking any security provider

  • Licensing Is the provider licensed under PSARA for the state where the service will be delivered, and for private security specifically?
  • Statutory obligations How are applicable wage and statutory obligations for the personnel reflected in the proposal?
  • Personnel How are the people deployed selected and verified, and what training is expected of them?
  • Duties and reporting How are duties, conduct and reporting agreed and reviewed with you?

Buyer questions

Practical questions, plainly answered

What does a corporate security arrangement usually include?

It depends on the premises. Components can include entrance and access control, reception and visitor handling, premises presence and rounds, parking and vehicle movement, material and delivery movement, incident reporting, and the planning of posts and shifts. Which of these apply, and at what hours, is defined with you for your site.

How is the scope decided?

Through a conversation about your premises, working pattern and priorities, followed by a written scope covering posts, hours, number of personnel, duties and reporting. The scope comes from your site and requirement, not from a fixed package.

Can security be arranged for specific hours only, such as after working hours?

Hours and days of cover are part of the scope. Whether VSMS can staff a particular pattern at a particular site is confirmed when the requirement is assessed.

How is a quotation prepared?

From the clarified scope: the posts, the number of personnel, the duty pattern and the site. It takes applicable minimum wage and statutory obligations into account. No standard per-guard rate is published, because the right figure depends on the requirement.

Does VSMS hold a PSARA licence, and what does it cover?

Yes. VSMS holds a PSARA licence for private security operations in Madhya Pradesh. It relates to private security. Manpower and facility services are separate services with their own applicable requirements.

Can security be combined with manpower or facility support?

VSMS provides Security, Manpower and Facility Services, and a requirement can involve more than one. Describe the full requirement in your enquiry and the combination is discussed with you.
